Located in an established neighborhood just out of Concord center this project transformed the master suite of a quintessential New England Cape. The suite had plenty of square footage yet needed to be updated to increase connectivity to the rest of the home and lengthen sightlines without expanding the footprint. In the bedroom we created a large walk-in closet, added a transom and a triple unit of windows. In the adjacent den we created a half wall encased with heavy entablature, built bookcases and framed the fireplace with a granite surround. We also enlarged the bathroom to allow space for a free-standing tub and custom corner vanity with two sinks and under-cabinet lighting.
