Arlington – Kitchen, Family Room

Located in an established Arlington neighborhood, this 1940’s colonial needed an updated interior footprint and addition in order to live well for its current occupants. The first floor was reconfigured to allow for a first floor bedroom suite, laundry room, and powder room. An addition allowed for a larger eat-in kitchen, butler’s pantry, mudroom and family room. The kitchen and family room now located in the rear of the home have breathtaking views of the Boston city sky line.

Updates to the existing infrastructure include a low maintenance exterior package with Hardiplank color plus siding and pvc trim. The antiquated hvac system was replaced with a high efficiency hydro-air system, hydronic radiant heat, filtration systems to increase air quality, air conditioning and instantaneous hot water.
