Concord – Historic Whole House Renovation, Carriage House
Horatio Richardson House circa 1890. This home is a Victorian landmark in the Concord Center Historic District.
This project included the full renovation of the antique house, two small first floor additions, and the construction of a new two car detached carriage house with an office above on the rear of the lot. Most of the interior finishes in the principal rooms of the historic house were retained and restored. The rear of the home had a full interior demolition which became the new kitchen and mudroom area. The project included completely new systems: electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. Half round copper gutters were added to the home. All new work complied with current codes.
