In 2023, we embarked on building our largest custom home to date: a nearly 8,000sf energy-efficient home on the banks of the Sudbury River. Watch as we make our clients’ dream home a reality!

Sales and Marketing team

Our talented Sales team is responsible for defining and estimating your project correctly, ensuring that you know what will be done, what it will cost, and how long it will take.  We often get the feedback from prospective clients “Wow, you guys really listen!” 

Our Marketing team has the enviable task of telling the world about Platt Builders and the wide range of award-winning projects and beautiful spaces that we can build for you.

We are proud members of the communities in which we work. We support: Groton Community School, Groton Visitor's Center, Concord Museum, Emerson Hospital, Concord Chorale, Concord Holiday House Tour, Gleason Public Library, Carlisle Garden Club, and other entities and events.

Project management team

Project Management is the connective tissue that holds every project together, and our PMs can herd cats! Our team is responsible for getting your project executed on-time and on-budget. They handle the scheduling and any subcontractors - along with our own carpentry team assigned to your project - and hold them all to an exacting standard of high-quality work. Platt’s Project Management team is a key part of each project and a major piece of the success we constantly achieve.

Carpentry team

Platt’s field force of Finish Carpenters provides a superior level of quality craftsmanship on your project. They take great pride in their work and often become members of your family during our time in your home. It is part of our company’s culture to think for the long term always remembering that “it is better to build it correctly now” instead of coming back to talk about it and fix it later. It is evident they take exceptional pride in their work.

Platt Cabinetry team

Nothing runs deeper in our DNA than the craft of custom cabinetmaking: we started as a cabinet shop shortly before Platt Builders formed. Today, our team of craftsmen work full-time building cabinetry and millwork in our 14,000sf facility - an impressive shop where our clients and design partners are always welcome.

Prismatic Painting by Platt Builders

Our in-house painting team, Prismatic Painting, has a reputation of being highly-skilled painters who prep properly and use the best tools to yield the best results. We like to say our painters provide white glove service with skilled craftsmanship — doing things the right way helps us sleep at night.

Our painting team is available for hire outside of Platt Builders’ construction projects and will paint any room in your home.
