Mudrooms can be chaotic drop zones and this one was no different until we expanded it by taking over adjacent space and moving the exterior door. Useful storage (closed storage keeps mess at bay), durable finishes, and custom cabinetry (complete with ventilation holes) make the get-out-the-door smoother — whether through the garage, exterior door, into the kitchen, or up the back staircase. This busy, hard-working area is now efficient and beautiful.
